THE DENNIS DUGGAN MEMORIAL

SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Dennis Duggan Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the Society of the Silurians in May 2006 in honor of our past president, cherished friend and revered journalist, Dennis Duggan, who passed away on April 20^th.

To be inaugurated in Spring 2007, the Dennis Duggan Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student of the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, which opens its doors in September of 2006. Fittingly, the school will be located in the old Herald Tribune building, where Dennis was employed early in his career.
